The overall construction is a mixed bag, the wiring seems to be done very well, and the pots had great spread and no noticeable buzz came from the pickups. On the other hand, the nut is poorly cut, the tuners are hard to turn, the guitar has subpar tuning stability, but the frets are very level and smooth. At the end of the day, I would say I’m more impressed than disappointed because of how truly cheap the guitar is.

Once I’d sent an image of the issue to the customer service team they were very quick to rectify and sent a replacement straight away. Great value for money instrument for a beginner and my son loves it. I purchased a glarry guitar to see what you get for under $100.

A decorative guitar for the wall costs more but it doesn’t play, Glarry instruments with a proper set up play quite pleasantly.

The bridge pickup and nearby out of phase mode was all treble, and was very tinny and thin. The neck and nearby out of phase mode was all bass, and really was mostly unplayable except for a few lead lines. The middle pickup was kind of a mix of the two and actually was okay, as it had the best EQ mix between mids, highs, and lows. Glarry Music’s GST3 is an affordable, Strat-style guitar meant to be an alternative to the thousands of Squier and Yamaha copies sold every year.

I let customer service know of the specific issues and they handled the situation very very well to my satisfaction. My brother purchased for me a guitar and it came with a 3 inch crack running up the fingerboard. The paint job included over spray inside the hollow body. The hard case promised was a zipper nylon bag that looked beat up and used. What kind of company has no company voice mail? Someone called back and promptly hung up on us as we were asking for a refund. I would have felt better if they took my money and not sent the piece of crap at all.

It’s amazing for less than $100 you can get a playable guitar let alone a great guitar. I would price this guitar in or around the $500.00 range. I ordered an instrument and it was deliverd damaged. We immediately notified the company via the customer service email address, they asked for pictures which were immediately provided, and we never heard from them again.
